While I have great respect for the names given by Grandpas (I was known as Percy, thank you), I would like to suggest: Neil. Afterall, he's America's greatest songwriter and he's our hero.

As with almost every other name I have suggested, the Dad has some literary meaning/problem/character he doesn't like with it. So it is with Neil. Neil Cassidy. Buddy of Jack Kerouac. I, however, first thought of Neal Peart drummer for Rush. Each to his own Neil I suppose, we know where our priorities lie.

Hey...I never said I didn't like Neal Cassidy? He was just quite a character and I wonder if you are up for someone with that kind of a namesake?

Wait until after the baby is born and see what name fits. Let it be a surprise to everyone! Or you could do what Mr. Eris did: surprise everyone the day after with a name change!

My name was changed the day after I was born.

We always wait until the baby is born to give it a name. I think it's driving my dad crazy, hence, Roscoe. That is how he is listed on all my parent's Christmas shopping lists. I guess I won't object to presents for him even if he's not born yet.

Boy names always came much harder for us than girls. Perhaps that's why we have 2 girls and only one boy together.
